Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa by IHG

We stayed here after looking for a place on our drive from Fort William to Southern England. It was a wonderful place to stop. The reception staff are first class and helpful. Social hour was a nice suprise and the best bit was the fabulous spa facilities. Hotel guests can use this between 5-8 pm and 7.30-9.30 ish. But that’s long enough to fully experience the spa and unwind. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was first class. The waiter really knew his stuff and was very engaging, his recommendations from the menu were spot on. Thank you. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had and the waiter (with all the badges) was very friendly and engaging and clearly loves his job. I’d highly recommend this hotel//Spa to anyone considering staying here.

Lovely luxurious night away. The hotel is stunning internally and retains many heritage features whilst being modernised as needed. Our room in the older part which id recommend as it was large and spacious with high ceilings, and incredibly comfortable. Large marble bathroom also. Lots of little extras and well equipped. The only gripe was that the USB ports didn’t work and the sockets were a bit limited to charge devices, use kettle etc. The thermal spa experience has been refurbished since we last stayed and is incredible - well worth staying for this alone! We dined in the restaurant and food the food a good quality and service friendly. Breakfast was also brilliant!

A fantastic stay for me and my partners anniversary. The staff upgraded us and provided extra amenities that really made the stay memorable.

Not much to fault here however the service in the bar area was a bit slow, I waited almost 25 minutes for a rum and coke to be told they were waiting on ice and thereafter to be told the rum I ordered had ran out. They did recommend another however it wasn't great. They did exchange this for another at no extra cost which was a nice touch. As I said not much to fault apart from this. The hotel is wonderful.

Good location, valet parking, spacious room

Their service was very inconsistent: 1. Our luggage was taken out of our car, but left in the lobby for us to carry to our rooms. I expected someone to help us, for a 5 star hotel. 2. We asked for our room to be cleaned while we were the whole day out, they didn’t clean it, said it was a mistake on their end. Cleaning should be a default, especially when explicitly requested, very disappointing. 3. The room they gave us was right next to the cleaning closet, so it was very loud as their staff was going in and out all the time. After we raised these concerns to the hotel front desk, they apologized and refunded us their valet parking fee.

Pokój Premium kings bed był brudny, mniejszy niż na zdjeciach booking (brak części mebli), z dziurawą kanapą i widokiem na ścianę budynku (tylko kilka metrów) z rusztowaniami. Być moze dla klientów booking sa najgorsze pokoje poniżej standardu. Obsługa - brak reakcji - nawet na kontakt booking.com (który poprzesłaniu zdjec od razu przesłał rekompensatę). Hotel miał duze obłozenie - wiec widac ze jak rezerwuje się booking to jest się gosciem drugiej kategorii.

The hotel is so beautiful, welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are sumptuous and well equipped. I slept so well in the luxurious bed. Wow!
