Le bâtiment est magnifique et très bien mis en valeur, accueil très chaleureux.

De locatie is perfect. Bedden ok.

De gastvrijheid bij het ontbijt. 😬 Wij kwamen om 9.30 uur in ontbijt zaal er was geen plek meer. We konden ergens even plaatsnemen en als er een tafel vrijkwam konden we aan tafel. Uiteindelijk zijn we toch maar ontbijt gaan pakken. En toen werd ons medegedeeld dat het buffet dicht ging en als we nog iets wilde dan moest je maar snel je bord vullen. Ik vond dat jammer. 🥲 Het was 10 euro per persoon voor het ontbijt.

Delighted to return to the hotel (weekend of Rethymno carnival). We had requested the same room as we stayed in last year, 106, and the staff made sure we got it ❤️ lovely breakfast that is very affordable, hotel is bang in the center of the old town, very friendly staff. We love the historic look of the hotel.

Very small complaint that is more a personal preference - pillows in room were a bit thin/soft for us.

Very charming hotel. Pleasant stay and very friendly staff. Also they were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Not sure why other reviews didn’t like the breakfast! It was really good.

Καμία απολύτως αρνητική εμπειρία

Ήταν σε πάρα πολύ καλό σημείο μέσα στην πόλη.. Ήταν πεντακάθαρο... Η κοπέλα στην ρεσεψιόν ότι καλύτερο για το ξενοδοχείο, δε γνωρίζω αν δουλεύει ή είναι ιδιοκτήτρια, πάντως την ευχαριστώ άπειρα γιατί λόγω υγείας ήταν άμεσα εξυπηρετική σε κάποιο μας θέμα... Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα... Θα το επισκεφτώ ξανά σίγουρα... Και θα το προτείνω και σε γνωστούς και φίλους..

We loved stayed in the old Veneto Hotel. Both the hotel and the room were beautiful. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful in terms of advice relating to local activities.

I think our only grumble, since we hadn't expected it, was having to haul our suitcases from the bus station (we arrived by bus from Heraklion). We had planned to hail a taxi, but Rethymnon oldtown is only walkable. But we managed, and it was totally worth it.
