Central location in Windsor

Very expensive. On top of £412 for two nights accommodation we were charged £80 for 2 nights parking at the hotel. We also had to pay £72 for breakfast for 2 days ie £564 for 2 days accommodation which is extortionate. No real ale in the hotel bar so we went out and found a local pub.

After booking and paying up front for the accommodation the hotel sends an email saying that if you want to park your car it will be another £40. This should be clearly stated in advance of booking. Had I known I would not have booked this hotel as £40 is totally excessive in my view. River Street car park is only £30 for a similar period.

Breakfast was very good, diverse offerings, convenient and good value.

Carpet in room could use a scrub. Otherwise, room was comfortable relatively new and clean. Service at dinner was slow and lacking. Food was well prepared but small portions for the price.
