Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport by IHG

Well built hotel - important since it's right on the freeway across from the airport and in an industrial park. But as a stop in a journey it's been great.

We arrived very late and the only room available was one they never like to use. Once more rooms became available the next morning they moved us to a better room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since we arrived in the middle of the night the shuttle wasnt running so we had to take a taxi to the hotel, it cost 30 euros. All of the airport hotels are not close unfortunately.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast.

The front desk staff were terrific. They helped with getting our boarding passes which were complicated. They also were courteous and kind.

Staff were friendly, the room was in great condition, bar/restaurant was welcoming & food excellent. Breakfast the next day was excellent too: fresh & great range. We only stayed a night between arriving in Spain & heading north but it was convenient & a great experience. Highly recommend.

Good hotel, good breakfast, safe and close to the airport

When staying at a Crowne Plaza, one expects a consistent level of professionalism. Unfortunately, the front desk staff fell short of this standard during our visit. It was around 22:00, near the end of their shift, and they seemed tired and disengaged. The shuttle service is €10 per person, but space for luggage is not guaranteed. Given the limited availability and uncertainty, we opted for an Uber instead, which cost €16 for two people with two suitcases—far more convenient and stress-free. We travel to Madrid frequently, but based on this experience, we do not plan to return to this property.

Arrived during the power outage in Madrid. Front desk attendant was very helpful.
