Renovated but still historic feel, EXCELLENT (!!!) staff with smooth check-in/check-out experience. Spacious accomodations with premium bathroom facilities.

Room was a but warm even though A/C was at full blast. Outlets next to bed were not compatible with more widely-used 2 prong outlets so had to charge devices on the floor overnight.

"Hotel for a night only stay, high restaurant and mini bar prices."

The property was about 3 minutes drive from the airport which was very nice when you have a flight early in the morning. The hotel provides a shuttle service for 3.5 euros per ride which sadly is required because the hotel and airport are split between an highway so you can’t really walk to and from the airport.

The bed in my room was very very hard, hard as a rock. Hands down might be the hardest bed I have ever slept on. The hotel knows that it’s in a spot where guests don’t really have a choice and if they want to eat something they need to do it at the hotel. Something that I didn’t consider at the time of reservation sadly. Due to this fact the hotel prices for the restaurant and mini bar in the room was unreasonably high. Water/soft drinks cost about 3 euros and other drinks even more, according to the price menu in the hotel room. The hotel restaurant is mediocre at best, meals are small and very expensive for the quality and portion. Breakfast is free of charge so you can’t really complain about it when you get it for free, but I do want to mention the fact that the omelette might not even be from real eggs, at least by looks and taste, as the omelette looked like rubber.
