Caribbean Villas Hotel

Wonderful staff, beach front, nice pools, excellent nighttime security

My TV never really worked and (this is no one's fault) but my smoke detector decided to start low battery beeping at of course 3am the last night I was here which made for a heck of a bad night sleep! I hate those things. Check the time of year before you come- the seaweed is terrible right now and it smells terrible and makes it impossible to use the beach and swim in the ocean at the hotel. I would choose a time to come when it's not so bad and stinky.

We arrived late and the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. We enjoyed our stay. I don’t normally eat in the hotel restaurant, we get out and explore, as late arrival though we ate there. Good food & again great staff! They did have an issue with seaweed when we were there that’s not down to them at all, I watched the poor guy raking loads of it out at 06:30!

The staff was great here. Everyone was so helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed the pool area, our snorkeling excursion that was arranged for us, and the hotel's location. Convenient to stores, a coffee shop, and restaurants. They do have a restaurant on site.

Unfortunately, during our stay in early June, the sargassum (seaweed) hit the carribean area and piled up on the beach, which gave a foul odor in the air. The beach looked nice and probably is quite pretty when there is no sargassum. Their pools helped mitigate the inaccessible beach.

I always love ❤️ the facilities and restaurants. Marc is my favorite lunch partner and island historian.

I would like swim access if possible.

Nice staff. Food was great. The view is stunning. Close to the water taxis and many great places around to eat as well. I highly suggest to ask how the Sargassum is before staying here as the smell was unbareable in the mornings when they are cleaning it from the ocean. The onsite spa was fantastic.
