Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel

overall, this hotel is located at a center point of city area and very close to everything. but the condition of facilities is barely acceptable. the towels look like been used for decades, some doors are hard to close.

I would say that it was an overall fair experience. Nothing in particular stood out as great but also didn't have any issues that were particularly negative. The location was very convenient since it was near the shops and restaurants, and they also served breakfast.

The aircon was positioned such that it blows directly on your face when you are sleeping. Not very pleasant. Other than that, the room is clean and spacious. Breakfast was a little too simple - bread, egg, fruits.

This hotel was situated in an excellent part of siem reap. Close to all the attractions. The only thing lacking was maintenance to the rooms.

Location very central, close to Pub Street, banks and mini marts in Siem Reap.

Bad service, room not ready on check in got put in a substandard room the first night and the manager would not compensate for it said he upgraded us but gave us the room that we had already booked the next day. Staff to busy watching TV in the morning insted of waiting the tables. We had stayed here four months earler and it was great, now the standard has dropped to a poor level and would not stay here again.

The room is very clean and the bathroom has almost brand new rain shower head and toilet. The wifi on the ground floor is real hi speed. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I re-visit Siem Reap.

I was super impressed with Angkor Palace, it was a great place to spend my holiday. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The pool was brilliant, breakfast buffet was lovely and other meals were really good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and would go out of their way to give you advice. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a good position, down a lane way - so quieter - but within walking distance to Pub Street and markets. Our room had a couple of dead cockroaches in it on arrival, otherwise seemed clean. We had two queen beds. The rooms was quite dark with dark coloured tiles on the floor and dark timber walls but comfortable enough. The door and lock to the room were flimsy. No complaints with the pool. Clean and cool especially after a day at the temples. Staff were friendly and breakfast adequate.

The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately this did not make up for the fact that the hotel is not well taken care of and that the staff are not very competent. The pool area seems to be the only area that is well maintained. Our sheets were dirty in our bed, I asked for new sheets, they said that they could only replace them in an hour, but it was already late at night and I wanted to go to bed now. Our fridge in our room was not working and we needed it to store some food. They came to fix it, but it seemed very comlicated to them. The walls in the room were very dirty. Overall, it is not a horrible place, but in order for me to ever think of staying there again there would have to be big improvements made, especially in the cleanliness.
