The George B&B

Mike was very welcoming. We had the family room adjacent to the dining room. Room clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast. All staff that we met were lovely also. Location was a 10 minute walk down to the beach.

The room was clean, spacious and bright. It was quiet and functional. The queen size bed was comfortable, the mattress perhaps a bit on the soft side. It had a third bed with a duvet coming in very handy as we're not accustomed to sleep under a singe duvet at night. For breakfast they direct peeps with pets into a room separate from the main breakfast room. A very good idea, and well implemented. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with a smile on their faces. A big thank you to the team and we'll be back later in the year.

Good location, comfy and quiet room plus parking

Bed had a cheap waterproof cover made us sweat had to remove the next night staff at breakfast on Saturday beautiful. Blonde middle age lady on Sunday rued disrespectful. Made an error on our breakfast did bread not toast just picked it up with her hands and put on my partner plate and was rude to customers next to us customer service her was horrible

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Eine Bushaltestelle ist fast direkt vor der Tür und auch der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich, hilfreich und herzlich. Das Frühstück war typisch britisch und liebevoll zubereitet.

Excellent price. Lovely rooms. Plenty of tea and coffee. Friendly host. Great location near Weymouth town centre and the beach. My room was upgraded by the Host's partner and he didn't even know. Which was exceptional as it just shows what humble people they are!

Some parts of the room eg the bath mat were a bit tatty and needed replacing. Car park was a little to small for the amount of people staying. Tight entrance to it as well.

Breakfast was excellent, presentation was very good with excellent choices. The room was very clean and well decorated clean and very pleasant. Greeted by the friendly and welcoming owner whose friendliness was echoed by his staff.

We would highly recommend staying here!! It's a lovely place, very friendly staff and breakfast was delicious. The staff at breakfast are so helpful and welcoming. Location is good too, not too far from the beach and has plenty of shops around. The B&B felt very safe too. Room was spacious, bathroom came with amenities and was cleaned daily. A huge thing we really liked was access to the dinning room throughout the stay so we could eat a takeaway at a table! They also had a great selection of books and games. Honestly it's such a great idea to have a little bit of space accessible outside your room. We would happily return for another stay.

We had the room on the top floor, room itself was very pretty and clearly can see the attention to detail and effort that was put in while designing it. Only small criticism is that the bedsheets were and made from polyester and the towel where a bit small and frayed. Another thing that made it a little bit uncomfortable was that the room was boiling when it was 26C outside but the room came with a fan so that was a bonus, but we did struggle to cool the room down to a comfortable temperature to sleep in.
