We very much enjoy our 4 day stay here with our young son - the sun loungers were comfortable, the food was good, the breakfasts were very good, the restaurant staff were lovely. But we had one major issue which was that the tiles on the steps of the pool are dangerously slippery, the first day we used it my husband slipped and broke a small bone in his wrist. We saw many other people slip on the pool steps while we were there, though the hotel management seemed quite indifferent to this. Some friends of ours had just gotten married near by, they came to visit for a day and similarly slipped in the pool. They are both architects and she is Greek, so she explained in Greek to one of the managers what they need to do to fix the issue. He didn't seem to believe her (he, like others, simply insisted that the tiles were intended for pools). I do hope they change their minds and take the feedback on board before someone gets seriously hurt. We liked our sea view room a lot but it could benefit from a tea/coffee tray, which I would expect at a hotel advertised as 4 stars. We also were looking forward to exploring the historic home which features prominently in their advertising and eating at the Italian restaurant situated there, but neither were open during our stay (in late June, which I would have thought was high season) which was another disappointment. Alas, we did enjoy it enough that we said we'd plan another holiday there, but only if the pool were renovated first.

Great location and straight onto beach with umbrellas

Only basic coffee at breakfast . Latte. Espresso etc were charged extra . Only fruit salad on buffet for breakfast . No fresh fruit . The rest of choices for breakfast were lovely. We had a triple room however it was same size as a double with an extra bed . This bed was very uncomfortable and the smaller size of the room meant the luggage was in the way and there was not adequate wardrobe space .

Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Fine dining restaurant. Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced. Music playing from 10am till after midnight is loud passes in the main building front rooms. The Sikelianios villa restaurant was closed (2024), villa was unaccessible. Overall, highly recommended.

The single bed in our triple room was very uncomfortable for my daughter who was 19 years of age . It should be made clear that only appropriate for small children. Buffer breakfast was lovely only it was lacking fresh fruit . Only a fruit salad / it’s summer in Greece and that area has lovely local produce . Also, I had to purchase my coffee for breakfast because only premixed coffee on offer . For a hotel that caklibee cogfee of any type should be included . Vissino not on offer for yoghurt another Greek staple.

The breakfast was amazing, with beautiful views. The location was perfect.

I would suggest to remove the music from the beach bar

There was nothing special in this hotel

On our arrival, the pool was out of order and had no water in it. We explained to the person at the reception that we had booked this hotel because of the pool. All he said was "So, what do you want to do now? Go to a different hotel?" We stayed one night and then we left. Restaurant was endless slow. No restaurant at the villa, villa terrasse shown in pictures is not even accessible to hotel guests. Hotel seems very skilled at photoshop to make their rooms look way more modern then what they are. This hotel is way too expensive for what it is.
