Hampton Inn Bath - Brunswick Area , ME

Bath Maine: Cabot Cove Maine, without the murder… My room – spacious, clean, a refreshing getaway. Overlooking the river, with a gentle breeze, a comfy chair, with a foot rest (which very few hotels offer). Perfect place to read a “Murder She Wrote” novel. The hotel itself: The staff is amazingly welcoming, like they are so glad you have come home! The front desk – Hazel and Sandy; housekeeping Molly and Candy. The breakfast has a wide selection of good breakfast foods and a very comfortable dining area, with plenty of seating. The town of Bath is charming visually, easy to waunder around, and very friendly. Some great places: Reny's – a wonderful old fashioned department store, great variety, terrific prices; Fountain Ice Cream and Deli Shop – delicious choices of homemade foods; Corner Bookshop – with a fun selection of used books. I love hotels and, once I arrived, felt that warm welcome, I decided this trip? I would just soak up the relaxing atmosphere of hotel life. Best decision! Thank you to each of you at Hampton Inn Bath Maine! It was just what I needed.

We love Bath! The river view was beautiful. The restaurant across the street was excellent. The hotel staff very helpful. The free breakfast was delicious!

Breakfast was fairly healthy. Plain yogurt with optional toppings is healthier than flavored yogurt full of sugar. Full fat kielbasa type sausage could be replaced by turkey sausage which is much lower in saturated fat. Blankets were awful. We paid 450 for a “suite” that was just a room with a pull out sofa. The word suite implies a separate room so I was disappointed.

Excellent location in Bath and a few minutes walk into the town. Quiet location. AC units are a bit noisy, so try and get a room where you can switch them off and open the window. Breakfast of oatmeal, waffle, limited warm food. Limited fruit. Nothing special. Would stay here again for a day or so.

Landed in Maine for the first time and my first hotel stay was at the Hampton Inn Bath. Nice first impression. As a former Hospitality and Tourism instructor , I did many visits to hotels and properties in a resort town. I had to check on my interns and also meet with staff and owners to assist my students leaning and growth. Front of the house staff is key ! Penny was spot on at the front desk. Attentive the minute we walked in the door with a greeting and friendly smile. Efficient, helpful and personable . We had a room with a river view on the top floor. Room was clean, shower was hot, lots of space for our luggage, TV clear and easy to use, Walked into town for dinner - safe area - Penny gave us a recommendation for dinner and a sheet with other options too. A pleasant stay to kick off our week in Maine. First impression was perfect.

Good location, big and comfortable room, very clean, nice breakfast, very attentive staff.
