Hampton Inn & Suites Bastrop

We were greeted so nicely, given complementary water bottles. I only booked a king room and was given a king suit with couch bed. Hotel is right next to several dining options and Walmart. Great stay.

I really appreciate Katie understanding my situation and allowed a late check in. She was super nice every time I called. The hot tub was luke warm and way too much chlorine. It burned my eyes just to sit in it. Eyes were red till next day. Strips of carpet were missing in our suite. Everyone I had contact with was also super nice.

March 7-9, 2025 Staying here with guests for a wedding. Most notable : Susan in the Breakfast Area. Susan is an amazing employee. Engaging, friendly, and very hard working. After breakfast area closed, I was visiting with family and observed Susan performing what I’d call a DEEP CLEANING. She wiped down every table, wiped down the sofas. Then she vacuumed the floor as well as all the cracks in ALL the sofas. We left as she was mopping the floor. Her thorough attention to details was impressive to say the least. —-Oh, and the breakfast was very nice - highlights, 2 different waffle choices - Cinnamon/ and the standard Malt waffles. Eggs were not runny, Bacon was crisp and delicious. Overall, a good quality breakfast!! Accommodations : Room was clean, neat, and comfortable. Front desk folks were helpful and friendly. Final thoughts: Good solid accommodations. Very Good Value. Walmart & HEB within walking distance.

Free breakfast and coffee. Very good sound insulation, never heard any other guests while in our room.

I got the room specifically for the spa tub, and there were a few issues with the tub. Spa tub did not have much pressure from the jets. Jet nozzles were very yellowed. Spa tub faucet handles were reversed, so hot was cold, and cold was hot. Breakfast was a little bland.

Clean and spacious

Check-in was smooth and great. They reviewed my special instructions to allow my partner to check-in ahead of me. The room was fresh and clean. The jacuzzi was exactly what we needed. I was a bit nervous of it being noisy to fill up, use and drain but we were on the far end of the building so hopefully it didn't bother anyone. He used it twice for his lower back issues. I liked the TV on the exterior wall so that we could watch it late without worry of neighbors. Also the TV swivels to either face the Jacuzzi or the bed. The indoor hot tub and pool on the first floor were clean, enjoyable and refreshing. The breakfast was pleasant as was the attendance a ball of sunshine. The to-go brown bags were the perfect touch. I spoke to Norma at the front desk twice and she's the reason I booked your location via Hotels.com. I am glad as the all of the staff was pleasant and it's obvious they take their job and customer service seriously. My stay was a Tues check-in and Wed check-out in the Jacuzzi suite.
