Hyatt Place Pittsburgh North Shore

The hotel was fine. The location was terrific. The staff was friendly. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness or lack thereof in our room. The bathroom floor looked dirty and the shower could’ve been cleaner!

Fire pit wasn’t working!

We visit PNC park for a Pirates game, location was very nice for us.

Our room, 203, smelled bad—musty, like dampness. The carpet was visibly dirty, with traces of food debris. The first night resulted in my children and me falling ill with allergic rhinitis and coughing. They really need to improve their cleaning standards, as it is otherwise a good hotel with a great location.

I can not believe this place. We had a difficult time getting to the hotel because of the draft. I called the hotel and Alison Ziegler answered the phone. She was calm , asked where we were and said she does not care how long it takes , but she will get us safely to the hotel. She was on the phone with us about 40 minutes. We were really lost. She helped her every step of the way. When she met us , she had a warm welcoming smile. She did act like we were an inconvenience. She laughed with us, calmed us down and made us feel like family

Recently stayed at this hotel in Pittsburgh and had a very positive experience overall. The location was one of the biggest highlights—it was conveniently close to public transportation, making it easy to get around the city without needing a car. It was also within walking distance to downtown and the stadiums, which made attending events and exploring the area incredibly convenient. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast each morning was decent, with a good variety of options to start the day. It wasn’t overly fancy, but it was fresh and satisfying, which is exactly what you want when you’re on the go. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They were always willing to answer questions or offer recommendations, which made the stay feel even more enjoyable.

You'll love the front desk staff here. Great breakfast. Very convenient to Acrisure, PNC Park, restaurants, casino, museums, free subway transportation to downtown areas.

It was quite noisy outside, no fault of the hotel just something to be aware of.
