Nice place clean room and a nice pool

Wonderful clean pool! Nice quiet place to stay and not too far away from restaurants and downtown.

Could be a tad cleaner around the edges of the room,otherwise a great place to stay for a very reasonable price! Would stay here again

everything was advertised. the pictures do not show that this is a motel but other than that the staff was nice and it was clean

Check in was fine. We had to wash the bathroom floor because...it was gross. No coffee in the room. Beds were okay for a short stay. It was relatively quiet. With a fan running, trains were almost unnoticeable.

The bathtub was disgusting and had someone else's hair stuck to the bottom. The toilet was dirty. The pull out couch didnt have a sheet on it, the bed cover had stains. Staff was very friendly. It would've been an ok stay if everything would've been clean. Bit pricey for location and condition the hotel was in.

Well there was no trash can in the room, there was a small blood staun on the wall in the bathroom, and rhe continental breakfast was a choice of banana, fruit loops, a glazed donut from kroger next door or somw toast.

I had a fishing trip chartered on Lake Erie and booked a room here based on location and price. It ended up around $300 for 2 nights. External appearance - Good. Good parking. Pool looked good. They turn the sign off at night so if you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right by. Check in ends at 10pm, which seems odd. Check In - Friendly person. Professional. Good first impression. Note that checking ENDS at 10pm. Room - The room was clammy and smelled like mildew (strongly). The floor under the kitchen area and bathroom had some sag/bounce to it. I'm betting it's rotten under the carpet. I didn't want to walk barefoot across the carpet although it might have been clean. The beds were clean. No bugs. The fridge worked. I would not have stayed here with my wife/kids. For a couple men on a fishing trip, it was adequate. Breakfast - Basic continental breakfast. Cereal, donuts, hard boiled eggs, coffee. Overall Impression - This is an old motel in a good location. It's run down and in dire need of renovations. For the room I stayed in, $60 a night would be fair. The ~$150, I paid, ridiculous. We also noticed that the price was substantially lower had we rented that night rather than in advance. Live and learn I guess.

The people was friendly and the room was nice.
