Great Zimbabwe Hotel

The hotel is a bit aged. There were not many guests. Staff is as usual very friendly. Some renovation is needed. The safes in the rooms are useless as they can taken as a whole. They are not bolted to anything.

I was double charged for my stay and while they recognized that an error had been made they had no mechanism for reimbursing me.

Great staff, and the rooms were clean fresh and quiet. Sunset from the veranda was great

An older property providing all amenities and services we needed. Slightly on the expensive side, especially the restaurant and laundry services, but a good stay overall

Very punctual The ladies in the restaurant are superb, always willing to assist and with a smile...

Meal prices were much higher than anticipated for breakfast and dinner buffets

My last visit to this hotel was in 1997. Some parts have been renovated. It was a pity, that the door facing to the swimming pool couldn't be opened due to defective door lock. Missed the peacocks, which were there earlier and also the palm tree with the weaver bird nests. It was an attraction at that time. Food and staff very good. I find the hotel overpriced. Need some adaptation. Anyway, might be back in a while.
