Hotel Regina Adelaide

The hotel is right in the heart of Garda but still manages to be secluded and quiet. The shops and Garda's old street are right on the door step and all the restaurants on the lake front are just a 2 minute walk away. The hotel is perfect for a relaxed and comfortable stay, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families or groups of friends who are looking for entertainment and pool activities, this hotel is more about piece and relaxation and they achieve that to quite a high standard.

Really well located hotel , gardens and pool area immaculate , hotel spotless and staff very pleasant .the food is excellent ,we ate once in the Gourmet restaurant which was superb -if a little bit pretentious - and once in the main restaurant which was excellent with a wide range of choice on the set menu and an amazing dessert buffet featuring pastries from the hotels own patisserie. The rooms are very comfortable with really effective a/c -a boon with the high temps we enjoyed during our stay. The main lakeside area of Garda and the promenade to Bardolino and Lazise is less than a 5 min stroll from the hotel through a park area or through the small shopping streets . The Bus station is across the road and a couple of minutes stroll at the rear of the hotel , and the Ferries leave from the dock which is but a 10 min stroll along the front . It is worth trying a coffee and pastry /dessert at the hotel patisserie , their Tiramisu is one of the best we have had .

We have just returned from the Hotel Regina Adelaide and we had a marvellous stay! Everything was wonderful! The rooms, the décor, the pool, the food but most importantly the staff! We cannot stress enough how wonderful each staff member was - always ready to go out of their way to help you! The food was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the creations the patisserie made at their shop - the smells in the morning were to die for! Thank you for making our honeymoon so special! :D

We stayed in the lovely hotel for 3 nights. It's an old hotel, but well maintained. Great location, in front of the lake. Excellent breakfast - the best we had in Europe ;) Garda town is lovely with nice restaurants and shops around.

The hotel is pretty much everything you could expect, it is clean, well kept and offers good facilities. All the staff were polite and helpful, the outdoor pool is a decent size in nice grounds. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant at lunch or tea time as there is so many to choose from in town within a few minutes walk however they had plenty of custom each night, breakfast was good with plenty of choice although it would be nice if the choice changed from day to day. Our room was on the first floor but was very quiet and was quite large and comfortable. One tip if you don't have transfers to the hotel included don't worry, the 164 bus goes direct from the airport to within a minutes walk from the hotel and goes every hour (at present) and costs about €6.

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel which I had looked at last year when I was in Garda. The location was excellent and I had the most perfect room overlooking the lake. The room and bathroom I could not fault with plenty of treats like sweets and water. I stayed bed and breakfast and the dining facilities I thought were exceptional with an excellent breakfast choice. The hotel wasn't too big and had an air of peacefulness about it which I liked. There was also a small patisserie at the back of the hotel which was really very good. Will definitely stay here again without doubt! l

First class facilities, spotlessly clean and high standards of Service. Best Breakfast for miles. No tea or coffee making facilities in room.shower on 3rd floor not high pressure otherwise perfect.

Excellent stay at the hotel, staff did everything to ensure trip was enjoyable and organised a room upgrade at our request. In addition they ensured we were given all the necessary information for the day trips we went on and had timetables for the local buses and boats. Nothing was a problem. We stayed six nights and the only things I would improve would be to have a faster Wifi option and more cooked options for breakfast.

We had a fantastic time at Regina Adelaide hotel. Unfortunately my husband was poorly, however the reception staff were brilliant calling people for us and giving us directions.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were at ease. The staff spoke very good English and were so helpful. The hotel had a wonderful Italian character and was immaculate throughout. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a particular highlight of our stay as was the very large swimming pool with lots of sun loungers. We will certainly go back again.
