"Higher-end hotel right next to the airport, a bit overpriced"

Location is of course ideal if you have a connecting flight in Milan since it takes 1 hour to get to the city from the airport. This hotel is within a trivial walking distance from the airport itself.

A lot of walking within the hotel itself, it's HUGE. Rugs aren't helping with rolling your baggage for 5-10 minutes until you find your room, a strange choice for an airport hotel.

"Very convenient for a night before an early flight"

Big hotel right in Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 1 - perfect location for our early flight the next morning. Smart spacious room with big comfortable bed. Excellent hot shower. View of the Alps on the horizon.

We had a tasty dinner and good drinks in the restaurant, but the service - though friendly - was very slow. We were tired and wanted to get to bed, but it took nearly 2 hours to get 2 courses. We struggled to add breakfast to our booking - the receptionist kept confusing us with options about how to pay for it. When I arrived at breakfast, it still wasn't booked, and they took me aside from the queue like a criminal and tapped away on the computer for several minutes before I was at last allowed into my breakfast. The breakfast itself had lots of fancy options, but all were rather tasteless.
