The Lake Country House Hotel & Spa

Beautiful venue, Christmas decorations were wonderful, welcoming and friendly staff, great room - nice and quiet and good mattress. We didn't get to use the spa because of other commitments unfortunately.

The booking.com description of the price was a bit misleading we spent more that we expected too when we made the booking.

Loved the location and food

We had an issue with no hot water and when addressing it to the receptionist we were dismissed that we had to wait for it to warm, to which we did, however the hot water never came. A lot of money for a suite but no hot water to use. Thankfully we were booked into the spa and could use those facilities to wash.

Beautiful setting and staff were really attentive and helpful.

I loved the bucolic location and the aesthetics of the hotel. The bath and spa was magnificent. The surroundings are idyllic, beautiful and picturesque.

Many of the meals were very expensive, although staff were marvellous with finding more affordable options. The customer service was simply outstanding.
