The Lake Country House Hotel & Spa

Great overnight stop and would have like to stay longer. Takes a bit to find but it was well worth the effort. They say staff make a great stay including the owner. Would definitely go back next time I am in mid Wales. The room may suite was super with a great view over the countryside. It did rain but that's Wales for you!

Excellent facilities and very professional and friendly staff.

Would ask for a front bedroom next time as our bedroom was over the kitchens and therefore very noisy until 10.45 pm and early mornings from 6.30. Also one window faced a blank wall and other gave a view of the kitchen courtyard!!

The environment was very relaxing and pleasant. And I was able to bring my dog.

Everything was just perfect! Nice spa. Excellent room.Was staying in Powys room. Delicious menu especially dessert. Good selection for breakfast! Beautiful gardens!

Lovely old house in a beautiful and tranquil setting. The spa is set beside the lake. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely dining room.

Bedrooms could do with updating.

Lovely hotel jn beautiful location I didn’t need towels washed and replaced every day - the hotel could be more environmentally conscious Could conditioner be provided as well as shampoo The staff were all outstanding - polite, caring, attentive.

Very creaky floor in our room, to be expected with an old property but there was no quiet route to the bathroom!
