Da gibt’s nichts zu bemängeln

Very, very disappointed with this hotel. We received a warm welcome from Christophe who I understand runs the hotel. The corridor to our room was dark and dingy. The room was small with no storage for clothes other than a hanging section. The bed sheets were clean but so small they barely covered you. When we took the quilts out of an opening on the floor under the hanging space we discovered that there was no cover for the quilt. Who knew when they were last washed and they didn’t look very clean. We had mould on the shower room ceiling. The room was drab and uninviting with a layer of dust around the skirting. Sadly we had to check out a following morning prior to breakfast as we felt that if the room wasn’t clean what was the kitchen like. It saddens me that I have to post a poor review and hope that this ensures that things improve.
