Logis - Hotel Restaurant La Sapinière

Convenient for tunnel, good location near St Omer. Pretty views from dining room and our bedroom . Room clean with good bathroom.

The bed linen , I asked them to change the duvet cover as the material was puckered cotton which felt uncomfortable. To their credit, they did this. The breakfast was poor with cheese in plastic slices, no fresh fruit. The staff were very brusque and not very welcoming. It is a hotel which has a lot of functions and conferences and perhaps overnight guests are not their main priority.

This is a beautiful building in a commanding location with views to St Omer. We had a large chalet room probably eqiupped for disabled people but it gave us lots of space. There is a comfortable lounge and very smart restraurant where we ate a really good high quality meal at what I would call a sensible price.

We also stayed on a Sunday night so we weren't surprised that the restaurant was closed but it meant we had to drive to St. Omer (about 10 mins) to get anything to eat.

This hotel is off the beaten track but has a lovely outlook and is quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. It had a nice bar area and yes a good outlook from the restaurant with an outdoor seating area . Unfortunately on our visit the weather was not kind enough to sit outside . The food was excellent and we could not fault its quality. The room was clean and spacious . The only down side was that there was not any bottled water in the room or tea/Coffee making facilities . However I would certainly visit this Hotelagain the future.
