Hôtel Princess

The most nicely appointed hotel in Vernet, with walking access to the town center and eateries as well as famous walking trails. The mountain view from our room was striking and the room offered a balcony, comfortable bed, work station, and updated bathroom. We drove from Perpignan and took advantage of free parking onsite. There is an upscale restaurant and also a lovely patio where we enjoyed drinks. The family that operates the establishment is wonderful. Their operation is very professional, but the personable engagement and pleasant conversations with the family added fun to our trip. We relied on their local expertise for finding the trail head to Massif de Canigou. It is possible to walk from the hotel to the trail and, for the very intrepid hiker, to summit the peak and return to your cozy room all in one day. Vernet is a charming town with great access to the GR10 and we look forward to returning for our next stay at Hotel Princess. Highly recommended!

Hotel/restaurant/petit déjeuner/Patron trop accès business c'est trop flagrant et alors on reste en retrait ..et on n'est pas de tout satisfait !! Beaucoup de bruit dans les chambres on entend les personnes au RDC qui déjeunent à des heures tardives c'est désagréable. Pas assez de place dans le parking pour garer les véhicules de tous les clients !!

Nice clean room with seemingly all new decor and fittings throughout. Very hot everywhere on this trip and as was the case at almost everywhere we stayed there was no air con but the ceiling fan did it's job and kept us coolish. Much better than the small table fans that most places gave us

Provenant de Paris et devant franchir la frontière franco-espagnol nous avons passez une bonne nuit reposante juste avant de nous diriger au beau matin vers l'Espagne. Tres bon accueil. Hotel propre et bien équipé. Possibilité de se restaurer sur place et de prendre le petit dej sur place le matin. L'hotel est très cosy et comme nous avons sommes une famille avec 3 enfants et avions reservé 2 chambre le receptionniste a eu la gentillesse de nous surclasser sur une chambre pour être sur le même étage.

Hôtel bien placé. Accueil sympathique. On mange très bien au restaurant.

Pleasent place to stay with nice view of the hills. Room not large but clean and tidy with good outlook over the surrounding hills. Staff very nice. No air con but good fan an with window open was cool
