Hotel Maltezský Kříž

Very rude staff. The city was blocked because of a marathon, making it impossible to check in at the scheduled time. There was no one taxi nor other means of trasportaiton, it was not posible to come to the hotel by the walk on the time as the all central streets are closed.The employee responsible for the keys was unreasonable and rude when I asked her to leave the key for me. After the first call, she stopped answering, which created a very stressful situation. The hotel has a key box for unforeseen circumstances, but she only agreed to use it after I submitted a request to cancel the accommodation. It was a very stressful and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. When unexpected situations arise, the hotel staff clearly dont wont to helping guests or finding a solution. The keys were left only after I submitted a cancellation request through Booking.com. I will never stay at this hotel again.
