Hotel 1843 Reading

The calico bar is great with a great selection of alcohol ,the staff are very nice and polite and well informed on the drinks selection

I cant sleep with one flat pillow so asked for another one it took three different occasions of us asking for the pillows for us to finally get them after midnight .the rooms are very stuffy with only a small fan n two tiny windows for a very minimal breeze . We were woken up to a pigeon walking on the ledge outside.staff arent great at explaining how the breakfast works and its not a particularily great breakfast but i suppose you get what you pay for . The hall way was beyond hot like walking through an incinerator and they have motion lights on which is so bright it kept waking me up

The guy on reception was so nice , arrived at 1pm and our room was ready so we checked in early , he showed us around the hotel and we were given complimentary continental breakfast the next morning

Conveniently located very close to the center.

A bit old and not greatly maintained. There's a lingering smell of damp everywhere from the corridors till the bathroom.

Fantastisk personal! Bra restaurang. Bra läge intill Oracle galleria. Ok sängar.

Tegelvägg utanför fönstren. Dåliga avlopp. Lite obehagligt att hitta gamla, använda munskydd på golvet. Lite märkligt att hotellet är klassat med fyra stjärnor, ingen luftkonditionering, inget kylskåp och inte ens en stol på hotellrummet.
