Angmering Manor Hotel

I recently stayed at Angmering Manor Hotel and had a lovely experience. The hotel has a charming old-world vibe, full of character and history, which makes it feel warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights of my stay was the swimming pool area. It was relaxing, and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. It really added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the visit. The location is another big plus — set in the beautiful village of Angmering, the hotel offers a peaceful countryside atmosphere while still being conveniently close to nearby attractions and the coast. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with easy access to lovely surroundings. Overall, if you appreciate traditional charm, a tranquil village setting, and good leisure facilities, Angmering Manor Hotel is a wonderful choice. I would happily stay again

I had an otherwise pleasant stay at Angmering Manor Hotel, but I accidentally left my charger in the room and contacted the hotel twice about it, hoping it could be located and returned. Despite following up, my issue was never resolved, and I received no helpful response. It’s frustrating, as it feels like the matter wasn’t taken seriously. Given that the room is cleaned shortly after checkout, it’s hard not to assume that it may have been picked up during cleaning, which makes the lack of resolution even more disappointing. I would have expected better communication and effort in handling lost property. This situation has unfortunately left a negative impression after what was otherwise a nice stay.

All staff were lovely, polite, and helpful. Building was as pictured an traditional style building with beautiful wood panelling throughout. Parking to the front near reception a bonus. The gardens were very nice and well kept. Id imagine a perfect location for a wedding or party. The room 102 itself was a good size on the ground floor with door to the garden which was really ice to open up and listen to the birds. Overall all we could hear was the birds singing so was very peaceful. Room was a good size, nicely furnished with plenty of seating and storage. Restaurant and bar area is very nice. Breakfast was excellent with good coffee and array of food options. Bathroom was a good size shower of good strength. Pool are was a nice treat and the sauna is great. Wifi was good. Easy 15 mins walk to the trainstaion which takes you along the to Brighton in 20 mins and Chicester the other way.

Dont stay if you want a buzzy place. The staff vanish and bar closed around 9 both nights. Restaurant food was average. There is the Lamb down the road but expensive so they are missing a opportunity to take the food it to the next level. Be careful of the shower tray in room as a bit slippy. Gym area is a bit pointless as lacking equipment and makes it look tatty. Shower in pool changing room needs updating.

Full of character, attractive setting, available parking, swimming pool, friendly staff. Poached eggs lovely.

There wasn’t anything I would say I didn’t like.

Rooms need a refresh. Top of tap missing bathroom door very creaky. Lighting was poor and very old sofa

Lovely old hotel, nice room great food, good staff, the manager she was hard working and very attentive.

Excellent Breakfast, very nice clean room and the staff were very helpful and pleasant
