Not able to stay longer

Beautiful location, comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast. We have stayed here 3 times over the years.

The stairs outside have exposed metal beams that can be dangerous for little kids if a certain height. My son did bump his head and had a big gash on his head. The staff was friendly and helpful when it happened, and so were other guests, my son was fine at the end (after a few hours) but it was scary. The good news is that they were looking into ways to make that safer immediately so this might be remediated already.

Lovely location and garden.

Would have preferred to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bed a little short for someone over 6ft.

We had a lovely stay at White Lodge, Beth was an excellent host, very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The accommodation was very clean and the rooms spacious. Peaceful location. We enjoyed a welcome drink on arrival and a lovely breakfast on our first morning. We left early on the 2nd morning and Beth provided us all with a take away packed breakfast which was really appreciated. Thank you Beth and team

The parking lot is a little tricky for big cars but workable.
