Shores Country House Bed & Breakfast

Could not express how much Annette has an eye for details, everything was just perfect, great and comfortable room, with a great ocean view. From all the recommendations about places to go and great conversation to the AMAZING food and morning on her beautiful house. At the end she also gave us an Easter Egg, so attention to detail is what I took from that awesome stay.

This B&B was one of the highlights of our stay in Ireland. We had a beautiful view of the beach from our room. Breakfast was divine. Annette’s knowledge of the area was great and useful. We would definitely stay here again and again.

This is a wonderful place to stay -- a rather palatial B and B -- quiet and exclusive.

Our stay at Shores Country House B&B was nothing short of fantastic. It was the cleanest and best maintained place we have ever stayed at, including 4 and 5 star hotels. The rooms are charming without being too cheesy. The owner and the employees are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simply amazing. The owner asked us what we want from many more choices than your usual breakfast buffet and she improvised to cater even more to our taste. I'm lactose intolerant and to my great surprise she was completely prepared for that. She was able to prepare dishes for me that I'm never able to eat in any other hotel or restaurant. The presentation and quality of the food were fist class too. We loved it so much that we ended up staying an extra day.

Wonderful experience at The Shores. My wife raved about the crisp and clean sheets. We thoroughly the visit with only a couple of very minor annoyances. The parking was very limited, especially when the staff was there. Some cars had to be moved in order to get out. We did have some issues with hot water and the radiators not working reliably. That led us to the next issue--the lack of management presence. There was no way that we could determine to get in touch with Annette if you had problems. No phone, text, email, nothing. Again, these are Very Minor issues and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.

This place has an amazing view, tasteful interior, and you get to Dingle via the beautiful O'Connor Pass. Annette is simply a delight and a very talented cook. I just adore her. She was kind enough to share her brown bread recipe which is the best we had in Ireland. I've been trying to find the ingredients in the US so I hope the outcome will compare to hers!
