Lampeland Hotel

a very cozy hotel. the staff was very helpful and friendly. Has a parking available, near by there are some supermarkets and some placed to eat.

the rooms might need some renovations. the room i stayed had a tiny window very high, it was a little upsetting.

Excellent hotel with good family rooms, great food and breakfast and very nice staff. We stayed here on our way from Flam to west coast, perfect stop in between

The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and very modern. Really comfortable and plush common spaces. Just a really nice place. Car parking easy.

Breakfast was really good. Several different kinds of baked goods, fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit, jams, smoked salmon, a crepe station, etc. There were also gluten free options and free tea/coffee all day. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The shower was also big. Everything was clean (though there were a couple of old stains on the sheet hidden under the pillow).

We travelled with our dog. It cost 300kr extra, which isn't an insane price but it would be better if the price was stated here or on their website. Additionally we had to use a different entry and exit and had to sit outside during breakfast, which again is ok but it seemed like the hotel wasn't really that pet-friendly. The biggest problem was that the room was REALLY hot. Outside was cool but in the room felt like an oven. The window could open a little bit but there was no fan or AC. Had to sleep without blankets but still woke up several times due to the heat.

De sa ikke badstua var tilgjengelig, men de åpnet den for meg. Jeg valgte dette hotellet pga det stod at de hadde badstue 😊

Clean, modern and comfortable. Very happy with the service. Breakfast was extensive. There was a big party on but it didn’t really disturb us.

There was a dog barking in the room opposite which was annoying.

Visted Oct 23 - Loved the location (like a New England village), great rooms and relaxing lounge, wonderful restaurant, cute coffee shop, lovely friendly staff and great gift shop. Will definitely come back in the future!
