Hotel Plumm

The hotel is located within 10 minutes of Yokohama station on foot so it's easy to access. There are several convenience stores and food establishments nearby. The staff are top notch and went out of their way to be helpful. There are complimentary drinks in the spacious lobby which were nice to have, along with many amenities. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the room lighting was good. The complimentary slippers were quite comfortable too! The desk chair had a back, which was, as ever, appreciated. I liked the art deco aesthetic of the hotel overall, especially the blinking elevator lights. The hotel also handled an earthquake (magnitude 5.5, about 150km away) while I was staying there, which is a definite plus.

The bathroom light switch and fan are on the wrong side of the door to be easily accessible, and the unit bathroom itself is a step up from the floor which was a bit disorientating at first. The fridge door opens the wrong way and the fridge itself is inconveniently placed. I found the desk to be a bit cramped and the WiFi was a bit weak. The aircon was as confusing as ever and lit up the room at night if it was in operation (as well as making rattling noises loud enough to wake me up). The laundry was surprisingly expensive compared to other examples I've seen on this trip.

本来なら大浴場が付いてないホテルがありますが、今回泊まらせて貰い備え付けではなく大浴場を使わせてもらいとても良かったです。

ルームシアターを見ようと各階フロア事に販売機が設置されてると説明が書いてあり見に行ったら何処にも無かった。

コスパが素晴らしいのと、無料ドリンクサービスがあり、またお風呂も壁画が明るくて力強いので、気持ちいいです。 また宿泊したいです。
