omelette at breakfast was excellent, bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

carpet in the room was shabby, stained and grotty. the bathroom floor was grotty and the tub as well and stained. There was less than half a roll of toilet paper and the bathroom could not be securely closed..it could only be drawn shut and would gradually swing ajar after a while - there no clasp or latch or lock on the door. The fab in the AC unit was rather loud and noisy. The room should never have been in service-we arrived rather late at night and were too tired to go back downstairs again to ask for a change of room.

Bed was great, had enough pillows. Had plenty of parking space. All was clean and comfortable.

Asked the cleaning lady to leave us some linen and when we got back no clean linen. The hallway floor creaking. The smell of marijuana as walking hallway of floor we're on. Door to room doesn't shut behind you so make sure you close the door. Other than that great place to stay.

This location was very clean and quiet.

Relatively clean but several dead cockroaches in our room. I believe the best part about our stay was the ease of making a reservation and willingness to give us a late checkout, 1:00pm (thank you guys)!

The worst part about our stay was the 6’3”+ man walking in my room between 0900-1000am with his hands full of food. HOW DID HE GET ACCESS TO MY ROOM WHILE MY WIFE AND I WERE SLEEPING? He did enter, whoops & leave as we began to shout at him, he walked completely in our room and began talking to us!!!!! I called the front desk who responded with, “well Sir what do you want me to do about it? (3 times she repeated herself). We called the cops, who arrived at 1:00pm as were checking out. They were absolutely useless as was the security guard (Happy Birthday Marine!). The security guard was patient and understanding, but not helpful. He stated he could not check the security footage to see what occurred. He would not verify any access logs to figure out what key card gave the man access to my room. The security guard did let it slip that he would review the footage later, clearly after we left! We were definitely not a fan of the dead cockroaches in the corners, far side of the bed near window & under the desk/table! The male cop, badge # and name tape not legible, got aggressive telling me to stop talking while explaining what occurred, asking me what I wanted him to do about it, asking me do I want a refund and/or do I want to sue the hotel/owners. Completely unprofessional and an absolute embarrassment to his department and the city of Mobile! I do have the female officer’s info and case #, she was patient & understanding but like the other two, unhelpful! I still have not been contacted by the hotel, owners, or law enforcement involved! We notified the branch operator who said the owner and manager would be contacted and would reach out to me! It’s been almost a week and still no contact made! What does someone do in this situation? I am an active duty service member currently away from my home station. I have kept records of everything and will include this review when I seek advice and counsel for our legal team! DO NOT STAY HERE!
