Governor's Suites Hotel Oklahoma City Airport Area

Great.

It would seem that this used to be a lovely older hotel which now is just kept to a functional level. Staff was sullen both upon checking in and out. King suite was spacious but the noisy air conditioning made for an impossible night of sleep. Lighting harsh and uninviting throughout.

The hotel was okay but felt a bit outdated. The lobby was hot and humid, which made it uncomfortable to spend time there. Breakfast wasn’t very appetizing, and the towels were so rough they could double as an exfoliation treatment. On the bright side, the beds were comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep.

Front desk friendly and helpful. We had drove all day and was really looking forward to the hot tub to unwind and relax before going to bed. He told us it was closed but without hesitation opened it up for us to use and stated we could use it as long as we needed. He just asked us to let him know when we were done so he could lock it back up. The lobby absolutely beatiful and relaxing. The only bad part of this experience is the rooms were a bit run down. The bed was not very comfortable, a bit too firm for me. The bathroom toilet paper dispener fell off the wall. Despite rooms needing some repairs and new renovations, we would stay here again.

This hotel will remind you of Embassy Suites. Very nice staff and location. The atrium struck me as feeling a bit dusty (huge live plants) but it's Oklahoma so what do you expect?

Although the property is maintained, a lot of the common areas are dingy especially the elevator that had a very distinct odor and can be smelled from the room nearby.

Looks like it’s seen better days but doesn’t take the fact that it’s pretty nicely ran. Clean rooms and bed sheets. A lot of tv channels, my king room was very spacious.

The hotel was clean it just needs to be updated. The only real problem we had is the room never cooled off. The AC blows cold but wasnt strong enough to cool the suite we were in. The breakfast was basic. It could use a little update itself as far as flavors.
