Adonis Hotel Naxos

Located in a charming small village, the hotel is great option to explore Naxos island. Exceptionally friendly staff and great service. Located in front of Apollon beach. Rooms are neat and clean.

I found Adonis online and thought the reviews had to be exaggerated but as it turns out they were right. Stamatis, the owner, was as kind as I read about. He truly makes you feel at home while keeping professionalism. I couldn't have asked for a better host. The place is very close to a nice beach away from the busiest Naxos Town, served by very good restaurants 50 meters away. I highly recommend it, and know I'll be going back.

We had a nice stay at Adonis, owner was kind and informative and we even had a drink with him at night.

We decided to stay a couple nights away from the tourist area in Naxos and based on the reviews we picked the Adonis hotel. The owner (stamatis I believe) was lovely. Gave us homemade sweets when we arrived and was always available for any request. Our room was quaint with a wonderful ocean view. The only negative is the shower was very small (but we soon found out that's generally how it is in Greece). I think it was also our fault for not doing our research as when we arrived at the port we found that the hotel was over an hour drive away from town. We ended up renting a car but the drive was a bit scary especially at night. It was still a wonderful stay in a quiet town and if you plan to stay in apollonas I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at Adonis Hotel. The room is simple but very clean. Great value for money. It is excatly what we were looking for. The manager Stamatis is very polite, friendly and professional. He made us feel welcomed. The staff are all very polite and friendly. The breakfast is very good for 6 euro. Homemade jams and Greek yogurt are delicious. The dinners were just ok though. The location is great. Apollon is a great base for exploring Naxos island. It is quiet and beautiful. You do need a car to go around.

We were well looked after by Stamatis and enjoyed a tour of his garden where he grows the produce for his evening meals. He is extremely helpful and runs this hotel very efficiently with his family. The proximity to a wonderful quiet bay is a real bonus. A really relaxing time can be spent here.

It is a wonderful hotel, in a wonderful small village with very nice people running the hotel. They fix wonderful meals as an option of the 2 minute walk into town

Was looking for classic location, away from more popular spots and very happy to have discovered Naxos and Adonis Hotel in particular. Must start with the exceptional hospitality of host, Stamatis. He works non-stop from 6 to mid-night to assure the happiness of his guests. I know because he was there at midnight to welcome us with complimentary homemade lemon liquor and two days later, made us breakfast at 6 to catch ferry to Santorini. (He offered to knock on door at 5 until I insisted OK that I trust my own alarm). Island is spectacularly beautiful. Advocate renting a car so that you can take Stamatis' suggestions where to discover quaint villages and remote beaches. Driving is not for the faint of heart, an exciting part of the overall experience. Allow at least 3 days to fully enjoy both all the island has to offer as well as to slow down and enjoy the timliness of the village of Appollon.

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it! The room was great with a beautiful balcony. Apollon is a very cute little village, where people are very hospitable and nice. Unlike many other places, it is not too touristy. The owner of the hotel is a very nice and hospitable person, and he was so incredibly helpful with everything. Several times, he would also offer us locally produced snacks and drinks. The hotel has a restaurant which serves excellent food, so don't miss that either! A lot of produce they use comes straight from their garden. We would highly recommend this place and we are hoping to come back ourselves.
