Hotel Principi D'Acaja

Great location: close to a metro and tram stop and train station (Porta Susa) Very very friendly staff: they all helped us out very quickly when we had an issue or question Breakfast was nice: good choice of food and very friendly man who made our coffees Room was quite big for 3 people and there was even a bit of a balcony

Unfortunately no mosquito nets on the window (which was necessary at the moment...) They also ask you to leave your key in the hotel while going to the city, which is a bit strange

the breakfast was simple but good. Good coffee. Location was excellent. Staff super friendly and helpful. The value for money is amazing.

The curtains didn't fully cover the window, so some light came into it.

The hotel is located in a grand old building. The breakfast room is particularly pretty. It's on a small secondary street but well located: a block away from the Principi D'Acaja subway station, two blocks from streetcars going downtown, and within walking distance (without luggage) of Porta Susa. There's a small supermarket nearby (open on Sundays) and some food options. Breakfast is simple but good. There's an elevator to help with luggage.

The old room doors look fantastic but are very narrow, and you can hear everything through them. The bed in my room was rather hard, and not very comfortable. As luck would have it, the AC unit for my room and the fan in the bathroom were broken, which added to the uncomfortable humidity of Turin. Most staff I interacted with during my stay spoke little to no English. You need to ring the bell to get the person at the reception desk to open the door, which is generally a good idea but can be annoying now and then.

Magnificent building, huge windows and curtains, oil paintings and chandeliers, old fashioned charm. Our room was a triple,( no doubles left) so was huge, with our own balcony with table and chairs; writing table and comfy armchairs in the room. Exceptional value.

Maybe some fruit on offer at breakfast, but choice was good.

Very convenient for the station. A comfortable & friendly place to stay.

It has a very old school but classy victorian kind of feeling.

The mattress was one-sided worn out and too soft on the edge where people often sit, so you'd somewhat roll to the edge of the bed at night.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, staff very helpful and attentive. Enjoyed the breakfast, simple but nice consisting of cold meat and cheese, bread, cereals, yoghurt, boiled eggs etc and the dining room was lovely.

The beds weren't uncomfortable but the mattress was a little thin and the frame slightly creaky. The lift is also quite noisy depending on the location of your room, but didn't disturb my sleep.

not super clean, not super modern. also, we had asked for a complementary night on booking by messages and they juste forgot us. so for the first night we had a very room for one person, and sleep in couple in a single bed…

Very friendly staff, although I was leaving very early, they offered me a breakfast outside of the opening hours. Perfect location for a stopover form the train station.
