George Hotel

This is such a great deal right in the heart of Lviv. While the staff and service are great and things are very clean the hotel is in desperate need of an update. Everything is worn and a bit musty.

Excellent location, price. Breakfast was heaven on a plate. Classic building so no AC but high ceilings and fan were sufficient for us in mid June.

Our stay at George was fantastic! The check-in staff and bell-boy were super friendly, helpful, and efficient, not minding that I went to them a few times to ask questions about the city. The room I had was nice, and clean. The only sad part was we needed hot water and only knew on the day of checkout that we could have asked the front desk for one. Instead, I went to the bar and the staff there very quickly went to boil some fresh hot water for me twice (he was very great, I appreciated very much that he would do that for me). There's a free tour offered to hotel guests, the tour was very informative, not too much walking and we learned quite a bit more about the wonderful city. I must thank the girl at check-in and the gentleman who helped us bring our luggage for suggesting us to go to Baczewski Restaurant, it was the best restaurant we went to. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others On our last day there was a person on the management team asking us if we had any suggestions for the hotel to improve. That they took the effort to station someone there shows their initiative to improve their hotel.

I have stayed at The George before. I appreciate the value of the rooms with the shared bathroom. It is always clean and quiet. For early risers needing to leave before breakfast they’ll make you a box lunch.

I enjoyed my stay. The shared bathroom facilities were disappointing, which is not the hotels fault as they were cleaned every half hour. It is just disgusting people that use them. Rooms could also be hoovered on a regular basis. Otherwise it was ok. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was amazing

The stay was good, would have liked a shower and toilet in the room, but you pay for what you get. The breakfast is excellent. Eventhough there a things wrong, I would come stay here again.

Stayed here before. Great location but in summer lack of AC is a problem. They provide large fans though. But staff us great and breakfast is more than ample. Would stay here bags in in non-summer months .
