Hotel King Saron Club Marmara

We enjoyed our stay in Isthmia. This was our last stay in Greece and we were ready for a relax. Despite this we did find a lovely coastal walk which we would thoroughly recommend. There are few places nearby to eat but found a lovely restaurant- The Garden Taverna. Delicious seafood. The hotel caters for French travelers. The entertainment was in French. All meals were buffet. Breakfast was plentiful however quite ordinary. The staff were polite but not terribly helpful or friendly. No information was given about the facilities in the hotel. The towels were so thin I accidentally put my foot through mine. Cleaning staff were delightful.

Nice spot. Low season. Air con a bit noisy. Survived without being beaten by mosqitous likewise another premisses in the area.

The stay was fantastic. The buffet at the hotel was alright but still worth the price. The private beach is cosy and quiet and well maintained. A life guard was present and it would be a bonus for family visitors. There were many French group tourists and the receptionist could speak in French. The service of the reception was superb. One thing to add would be the check in time is not listed here and it says 24 hours but the official time was 1pm.

Family trip...the grounds were wonderful lots of shades areas with seating. Not only beach access for just the hotels but a large pool. We did not have any children with us but there were lots of families. The room was updated with a wonderful view of the ocean. The lobby seating was slightly worn and maybe a few areas could use updating but it a large place so nothing seems crowded. They had a great breakfast that came with the room or sat least was included in ours. Service was fine easy checking and our. We would come again.

Spacious rooms, conveniently located, excellent views

The place is in dire need of renovation and management care. We arrived with two small children -having booked and paid for a TRPL - and the only care of the manager was why we didnt book a 4-bed room even though our 3yo would have never slept anywhere else but in same bed with us. He said he has to charge you extra for the 3yo daughter because we only booked a TRPL. When we arrived in the room - more of a hostel room then a 4* hotel as they claim, we understood. the room was like a army room with nothing in it but the beds and 2 night bed stands, the floors were dirty covered in hairs, pieces of nails, dust rolls, we had to get a cleaning mop and bucket of water and clean our room and bathroom alone. We opened the ac and a dump air with mold smell filled the room, like the filters were never changed. We escaped the room to go around and the pool area was dirty, probably never cleaned by pine needles, small tree brunches falling from the trees above, to the extent that the pool surface was covered with a brown layer of pieces of the above mentioned. Uneven cement surface and pieces if metal from old works, the terrace of the restaurant at the level under without any care, dirty, unattended. We waited about 30 min to ask for some drinks , but nobody came except clients who were pouring water from some containers. No employees. Went to the beach, again same dirt and lack of care for the place. The poorest and dirtiest bkf with not food & employees throwing dirt to the floor

Pretty good place, beautiful views, very comfortable. Two problems of the natural characters: no public transportation to nearby cities and uncomfortable boulders on the bottom in the swimming area.

Liked the dated design at the entrance, lobby and common areas, that is now quite fashionable and somewhat stylish. The staff were friendly and the hotel rooms were clean. However the external areas, predominantly the pool and beach area (including the external furniture), were quite tired and in need of updating. Towels require a €10 deposit, per towel, however I they were also very tired themselves (definitely not worth taking)! There was a great games room, however many items were out of order. Besides this, the hotel was very busy, it seemed however mainly with all inclusive french tours (nothing against the french) as we were four of the very few without wristbands. A quite impressive morning view across the bay and I’m sure if and when the upgrade is complete it will make a very nice stay.

Loved the lobby, pool area, and beach area! The beach chairs are ready to be replaced and easy access to beach towels would’ve been nice (must “check-out” towels at front desk and leave 10€ deposit). Room was modern and clean, though little ants were observed on the walls & floor at times. Bed was a bit hard for our liking. Huge European breakfast spread complete with juice, cereal, eggs, meats & cheese, pastries, and coffees.
