Personnel accueillant, chambre agréable, literie très confortable

Pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre de la chambre.

La chambre n'a pas été faite le samedi. A ma question "pourquoi", la gouvernante chargée du contôle du nettoyage des chambres a répondu qu'il y avait la carte "ne pas déranger" sur la porte. Ce qui est totalement faux!! Aujourd'hui, nous vivons dans un monde réglementé par les normes de qualité et donc le client a toujours tord, lorsque ses afirmations n'entrent pas dans la norme. En clair, il est impossible d'oublier le nettoyage d'une chambre, puisque la norme l'interdit, donc le client n'a pas raison, c'est la méthode "Coué". Décevant de la part d'une chaîne hotelière mondiale. L'établissement devrait veiller à s'assurer le la compétence des personnes à certains postes, c'est la norme aussi.....

L'honêteté professionnelle, lorsque l'on fait une erreur!

Smooth check-in: Staff were friendly and efficient from the start. The garage was spaciously easy to access—a plus for drivers. Room comfort: The room was larger than expected for an Ibis, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Well-equipped bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) and thoughtful extras: shampoo, shower gel, towels, hairdryer, a Nespresso machine + tea, and even paper cups. Responsive service: When I reported leftover hair from a previous guest (on the bathroom walls/ceiling), the team acted immediately—sending a cleaner within minutes. The next day, the front desk followed up sincerely, with a manager who genuinely cared about my experience. Location: Excellent public transport—just 15 minutes to Cornavin Station. Shops and a few restaurants nearby made it easy to grab supplies or a bite.

Hygiene inconsistency: While the room looked clean at first, the bathroom oversight (visible hair) was off-putting. The cleaner fixed the reported issue but didn’t re-clean the entire bathroom—half-measures don’t cut it for hygiene. Temperature: The room was a bit cold for my taste—pack an extra layer if you’re sensitive to chill. Breakfast: Disappointing. The spread was exactly what you’d expect from a budget chain—processed meats, subpar croissants, boxed OJ, and mediocre coffee. The yoghurts were cheap, the cereal looked unappealing, and the Bircher müsli was literally inedible. Stick to the fruit if you’re picky. Small nitpicks: The paper cups were just tossed on the counter (no tray/napkin), with a note saying you could use them to refill your bottle. Booking Tips & Who’s It For? For: Budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location, transport links, and decent service over luxury or gourmet meals. Not for: Cleanliness perfectionists, foodies, or those who run cold. Inspect your bathroom immediately upon arrival. Pro tip: If you see an issue, tell the front desk—they will address it quickly.
