Grebnos Stonehouse Apartments

Please note - this is not a hotel, it is closer to a BNB and you interact directly with the owner of the property. I didn't understand this and it made the initial interaction a bit bumpy. The owner, like most others I ran into - is extremely friendly. Ohrid is beautiful and lovely. I loved the location of the property and the view was fantastic. The town was loud - bring earplugs if you need more quiet to sleep (I live in a big city on a large road - but the music coming from the restaurants and bars was disruptive so late) Sound travels a lot in this small city, and you likely just pay for it by the fantastic location. When we arrived, our host brought us a bottle of wine (delicious Macedonian wine - I ended up buying bottles to last us the rest of the trip immediately), sat and chatted with us a bit and shared a glass with us. This was unexpected because I expected a hotel, but it was mostly pleasant. The thing that, for me, was a huge issue was he sat down and lit a cigarette. I hate smoking and the smell and everything about it, so this was very difficult for me. The owners have a dog, which barks when you come in if it is surprised. Between their dog and the neighbors dog, and again, the sound traveling, if people come in late, this is disruptive to sleep.

From the moment we booked we were contacted by the owner who offered to arrange our taxi transfer from the airport. Everything went smoothly. We were greeted as old friends and a bottle of local wine. The room although basic was very clean and the views were amazing. There was hot water, a fridge and a kettle. What more do you need?

車があれば立地は最高！丘の上からオフリド湖の景色も抜群で気持ちの良い朝を迎えられました。 名前の通り設計はスローン作りで私は、結構好きでした。 ホテル設備は小さな共有のキッチンがあり、近隣スーパー(徒歩約5分）やメイン通りで買い物して簡単な自炊もできそうです。OLD　TOWNの丘の上にあるので車があった方がたどり付くのは簡単です。（石畳だから、荷物が大変）レストランもオフリド湖のクルーズ船も徒歩５分圏内です。 Wi-Fiもシャワーも大丈夫でしたが、現金払いしかできないのが残念でした。。。

Cosy little place with good atmosphere. Pavel, who owned/managed the place, was very helpfull and generous. Unfortunatly we only stayed for one night, but wouldn't hesitate to book it again. Stunning view from the terrasse. Perfect location in the old part of town close to restaurants and pedestrian-area.

Enestående udsigt fra terrassen over Ohrid-søen. Venlige værtsfolk. Centralt beliggende. Privat parkering for hotellets gæster, men svært at køre rundt i den gamle bydel. Mange seværdigheder i Ohrid.

Had a lovely 3 days with my daughter and granddaughter. Everything we needed, friendly owner, comfy room, magnificent view from balcony. Hotel is in a great location and Lake Ohrid is stunningly beautiful.

Prachtig gelegen in de oude stad, dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden. Op loop afstand van een leuk strandje. Zeer behulpzame vriendelijke appartement eigenaar, staat altijd voor je klaar. Word gehaald en gebracht naar het vliegveld. Voor ons zeker een plek om weer naar terug te keren.

+ Bra saker: Fantastisk utsikt. Rustik och romantisk inredning. Bästa läge i Ohrid för sevärdheter och bad. Trevlig och service minded värd. Grill på balkongen. - Mindre bra saker: Fukt i badrum. Ingen AC. Gemensamt kök var ofta stökigt (pga andra gäster).

It has a fantastic view from all rooms. Very clean, very well located. Very good internet. Very friendly people. They have a parking lot near the hotel, inside the old town.

Een zeer prettig verblijf. Authentiek in een toeristische omgeving. Pavel blijft zichzelf en dat is juist de charme. De ligging is geweldig.
