Hotel Argo Palace

Hotel is very conveniently located. The city is quite compact in any case. Rooms, service and cleanliness are all good!

The place is small and cozy - it seemed that we were the only ones staying. Some of the stuff in the room was broken / unusable - the shower needs some repair, the bed was noisy and uncomfortable. However, the service was good, and the breakfast was done for especially for us every day, which helped a lot with our overall impressions. With some work and small expenses, I think they could bring it to a higher level without losing anything.

The rooms of the hotel are big with high ceilings and hardwood floors, but not maintain particularly well. For example, the door of my balcony did not lock or even close properly, so anyone could have climbed up onto the balcony from the street and gotten into my room. (However, it seemed like a safe neighborhood.) My bedside lamp didn't work either. However, my room was very clean. Breakfast was huge and fantastic, although you have to tell them what time you want it the night before. It seems to be run by a family, which of course comes with some degree of inconvenience such as the lady at checkout taking 20 minutes to figure out how to print you a receipt. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the nearest metro station (Rustaveli)--and I didn't want to deal with taxi drivers after the one who took me to the hotel from the airport tried to cheat me--so not the most convenient location. All in all it was an ok hotel for a few nights.

Hotel położony na uboczu i nie ma w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie żadnego busa.I o ile to może nie być przeszkodą to dużym minusem jest fakt średnio świeżej pościeli. Miłe są obsługujące panie, ale poza tym to raczej hostel z łazienką niż hotel i uważam, że nie jest wart podawanej ceny.

Грязный, неухоженный, мрачный и неуютный номер, вонь из канализации, половина ламп просто не работает. Розетка спрятана в самом неудобном месте. Если окна выходят на улицу, то спать просто невозможно - ощущение, что все эти машины едут прямо через вашу кровать. Завтрак скудный. Но главный (и единственный) плюс - это приветливый и отзывчивый персонал.

+ Positive: Hotel was near to Rustavelli street and 15 minutes walk to the subway station. Rooms are clean and big, breakfast was good with daily minimum varieties. The hotel place was nice and quite, away from the main street. The area was good, lot of near markets. - Negative: Heating was very bad, using A/C which wasn't perfect in the current weather conditions. Hotel place was very nice except for the high hills streets, took a lot of effort to reach the hotel from the main street. So not recommended for families with children.

Good value in many ways: More than reasonably priced, fine breakfast, spacious rooms with balcony (a fridge would make them even better) and helpful staff. Had problems with unstable wifi and no hot water. Metro (Rustaveli) a good 15 minutes walk away. If you are in to beer try the local brewery Mirzaani. They have one of their restaurants 10 minutes walk from the hotel (go down to the main street - turn right and go right at the second street).
