Pineda Park

Very enjoyable week at Pineda Park. Room was perfect for self catering and the pool is fantastic. Location is spot on.

Evening entertainment was somewhat limited but the entertainers were great and they tried their best. 10 minute walk to the more lively bars meant it wasn't an issue.

We recently returned from a week at Pineda Park apartments as a family of four with older teenagers. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Please be aware a 100€ deposit is required at check in, this was refunded to my card within 24hrs of departure. 24hr reception available. Check in 5pm/check out 10am. Late check out charges upto 150 euros subject to room availability. We felt this was expensive in comparison to other places we have stayed. You can use the facilities after check out if you have a late pick up time and there is a luggage store at the side of reception, along with changing rooms with shower facilities and sinks by the outdoor pool table which were clean. The 2 bed apartments are larger than average with an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom and a shower room opposite the twin room. Showers worked well but be warned, you may run out of hot water if all guests have a longer shower one after the other. A spacious living space with a TV, 3-seater basic sofa, sideboard and full size dining table. The kitchen is well-equiped with a fridge freezer, hob, oven (one shelf), a kettle and a toaster. The balcony was very spacious, with table and chairs provided, along with a clothes airer. Rooms are only cleaned once during a 7 night stay. Towels changed every 2 days. 1 toilet roll provided for each toilet and these were only replenished on the cleaning day. I've stayed in 2, 3, 4 and 5 star accommodation before and based on past experience would have thought rooms be cleaned more often and adequate toilet rolls provided/replaced for the full stay. You are also asked to remove your own rubbish and place it in the large bins on the street which is unusual for a 4-star establishment. Air con worked well but will automatically shut off when windows or doors open, or when the room card is removed. A safety deposit box is available at a charge of 5€ per night, I'd expect this to be included in the cost of accommodation at this star rating. Other places just take a refundable deposit for safe return of the key. CCTV is on throughout the complex but like others have said the patio door onto the balcony did not lock! Inside the complex everywhere is spotless. There's a small games room with most games costing 1€ and pool tables 2€ (only 1€ coins accepted). Outside there's a basic playground for younger children. The pool is open 9am - 8pm, although it can get a bit crowded you can usually get some sunbeds as most people removed their towels when they left for a while. Quite a few sunbeds are getting ready for replacement, with fabric wearing thin and back rests broken. Chemicals are added every evening but we rarely saw the pool area being swept or mopped and one day it was full of leaves and debri from the storm the night before. Bar staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast was OK (full breakfast 11.5€, continental 10€) but lunch meals very disappointing and overpriced for the quality. Large draught beer only 4€. Cocktails 10€ and absolutely awful. We prefered to have a mixer drink. Cans of fizzy pop 2.5€. Entertainment every evening - the younger kids seemed to enjoy this. Sports on the TVs in the bar area. The complex can be quite noisy up until around 1am when most people tended to settle down for the night. La Pineda itself has a lovely beach but there is a level of disdain towards foreign tourists in many of the surrounding restaurants/cafes.

Buena ubicación, cerca de todo (playa, supermercados, restaurantes...) pero muy tranquilo por las noches para poder descansar a gusto. Apartamento muy amplio , tanto las habitaciones como la terraza y con suficiente menaje para pasar unos días. Camas y almohadas muy cómodas. Buena piscina y con muchas tumbonas.Personal muy atento y amable.

El sofá me resultó un poco incómodo. No me gustó tener que acceder y salir de la piscina cruzando todo el bar, había una pequeña puerta que hacía el recorrido más corto pero estaba cerrada.

Me gustó todo la psicna las terraza amplia habitaciones cómodas para repetir

Apartamento espacioso con una terraza de 10 con vistas al portaventura.

Había arena en el suelo del apartamento , no se podía ir descalzo por lo demás todo genial!

Cannot fault this accommodation It is really clean the rooms are very spacious and well kitted out We had a small issue with the kettle and the air con on arrival and both were sorted in an hour with no fuss Pool area is clean and plenty of sun loungers Bar area is good and they have entertainment on every night My only criticism would be the food from the bar is a bit hit and miss feels like it is microwave type meals but they were still edible Would definitely go back
