Marina Hotel Kuwait

Great and clean hotel within walking distance to the Marina Mall and plenty of shopping and dining options. The rooms have spectacular sea view and the hotel has its own beach. The staff are super friendly; will definitely get back to the hotel next time we go to Kuwait.

Great hotel I would recommend strongly for everyone specially the ones whom love beach and swimming pools.

We returned to the hotel after a long day of activities only to find a large fly in the room. We asked for a swatter, but they sent 3 staff members. One of them hit the fly and missed and they spent about 45 minutes looking for it. During this, we had to leave the room because it got crowded. We told the front desk about the situation and he laughed at us but agreed to add a note for the morning team to deal with it. They called us the next morning but offered very unrealistic compensations. They offered late checkout and lunch. Really? Who would come to Kuwait and would want to eat lunch at a hotel? When we asked for other options, they offered a "discounted rate" which was more expensive than what we paid for through Expedia. We don't like the way they handled the issue, and we hope the Expedia intervenes. Other than that, the room was nice.

This is a unique and friendly place. I travel regularly to Kuwait, from Switzerland, for work and I have stayed there over many years and have always been satisfied. To start with, the hotel has an unfailing complementary shuttle service from and to the airport, with equipped cars, and experienced staff. Check in and reception is quick, pleasant and efficient. Breakfast is excellent. Hotel has easy access swimming pools, with nice staff. So are the staff of the spa and gym, with an experienced coach. One can easily walk to Marina mall, or along the shore, while hotel itself is isolated and is peaceful and quite. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and spacious, with open view towards the sea, and much light and sun. Thanks to the ability of its multi-cultural and multi-lingual director, the hotel functions efficiently and harmoniously, and makes one feel at home.

Experienced the best service in years. Quick check in, efficient concierge and responsive housekeeping and room service. Hotel is right next to a large shopping centre with many food and coffee options. 45 minute drive to the airport, and transportation is provided gratis by the hotel. Rooms are nice, if not a little overwhelmingly white and stark of decorations. Good shower pressure. Hot water from the sink could be hotter, as I had to boil water to shave with. Overall, a great stay. Would certainly recommend.

trip was fine, apart from the fact that they couldn't seem to locate my booking via a third party, they booked me in nevertheless for the same rate. I could see that the facilities were good but i was not able to make use of them due to my busy schedule. Otherwise, the view from the balcony is very good, the bed is comfortable, the shower is spacious and strong, breakfast was also very good and varied.
