Very well built modern cabin. Location was excellent. Stainless steel electric frypan.

Just small things. Perhaps swap sachets of dishwashing liquid with small squeeze bottles. Also perhaps some pedastool fans so we don't need to use air con at night. Also single plugin induction cook top would complete the kitchen.

It is easy to find if you have been on a long drive, and the reception texted to let me know our rooms was ready for an early check in. Nice bathroom.

Beware - this Top 10 in Napier is nothing like the one in Gisborne! There is no pool, the children play area was near reception (far from our cabin), and the beach area is un-swimmable! We had chosen this place specifically assuming it was like Gisborne's - which has a great pool, kids playing area, is right on a very kid-friendly swimming beach, and we stayed in a beautiful two bedroom, two storey beachfront motel with a balcony - and it unfortunately is nothing like it. The accom itself was incredibly small - not enough room to place our luggage anywhere - whereas I have stayed in plenty of motel rooms that were bigger and for less cost. We had to go into town to take the kids swimming, which was a 15-20 minute drive. Will not stay here again.
