From the moment that we checked in, Mike and May the owners made us feel at home. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was up a flight of steps and Mike carried our cases up for us. Everything anyone could need was there. Spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. A sitting out area overlooking their gardens. A very safe and secure area from which we walked just a short distance into the town. Highly recommended.
Great little town to stop off on the Route 62. Mile is a great host and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was comfortable, lovely big shower. Large breakfast in the morning.

What a fantastic B&B in a superb setting, wonderful gardens with some really colourful birds. A lovely pool area with comfy sun beds. Mike & May go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Thank you for a super stay. Look forward to returning soon.
The second time we have stayed at this hidden gem May and Mike are perfect hosts full of useful info and always willing to help with advice and recommendations. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and complete with all home comforts Breakfasts are spot on - look out for Mike’s artistic fruit salads. Don’t make the mistake of only staying one night - stay two at least and chill out
We had a lovely stay at this Guest House. The owners were very welcoming. Lovely tranquil gardens and great accommodation central to the town where you could walk at night to restaurants. Lovely breakfast. Owners engaging and gave lots of info on where to go and sea. We loved our stay in the area. Would definitely return
Very warm welcome from Mike, lots of information given about local restaurants. Our room was spacious and very romantic in character! Four poster bed! Breakfast in the courtyard garden with May adding a friendly cheerful atmosphere to the serving of the meal. A fabulous stay, in wonderful surroundings
Mike the owner of 7 Church Street, Montagu, is one of the nicest chaps one could meet. His kindness extended to cooking some chicken for my doggie and providing treats. The room was splendid, the bathroom well-appointed, and the service excellent. Great breakfast too. All in all a very pleasant and happy two nights at Mike's great little boutique B&B. Thanks and bravo Mike.
