Hotel 28

We have just returned from Hotel 28. The hotel is lovely, it is everything you could want. The pool is great, and the sunbeds round the pool are very comfortable. Everywhere is very clean. The food at the pool bar is very tasty, and if you love cats be sure to save some for them. We couldn't find fault with the hotel at all and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough for being able to put us in a ground floor room. I emailed and said I have mobility problems, and Thomas went out of his way to help. There were still steps, but taking my time and doing them at my pace I was fine. I also at last minute notified Thomas of the fact I had just been diagnosed lactose intolerant and he made sure that there was soya milk available. Even at my slow pace of walking you are very near to lots of shops and restaurants, but without the noise being too close. We loved our week here and really didn't want to come home.

A beautifully designed and relaxed hotel. We loved the large sun loungers around the pool and how clean the accommodation was. Great choice of food and drink is available at the bar. The staff, especially Eva as reception are all so friendly. The breakfast was great and certainly was enough for a great start to the day. Location for the bus to Thira and to the main promenade in Kamari was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from the hotel 28 and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed it , just a short walk from the bars and restaurants so very convenient for eating, the pool bar was great and lunchtime snacks were good as well , a very quiet hotel great for a peaceful break , if you come make an effort and feed the cats , they have kittens as well who were very cute .

Hotel is pretty basic but is kept spotless, the staff are friendly, attentive and always available to assist: arranging hire cars, taxis, recommending restaurants and in our case organising a sunset cruise. Only very minor negative is the bar shuts at around 18:30.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and didn't disappoint! If you are looking for a chilled, quiet relaxing time but only a short walk to many bars and restaurants then this is the hotel for you. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us, from waiting on us at the bar to exceptional daily room cleaning to reception staff booking us a taxi and restaurant to near by Thira for the beautiful sunset nothing was too much trouble. The pool area is very quiet and perfect for relaxing with no rush for the very comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast was fresh, varied and more than adequate for our tastes, lovely lunch menu available at the poolside bar with delicious salads, sandwiches, pizzas and snacks. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh room and pool towels and was comfortable and a good size. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic relaxing week we will be back!

Lovely boutique hotel situated a short walk from the main area of Kamari. A chilled out vibe with great staff.

Fabulous hotel. This was our second visit in two years. Very friendly and professional staff. A great place to relax with clean and comfortable rooms that are serviced daily. The hotel is spotless. We spent most of our time during the day in and around the pool. - it's an adults only hotel so no screaming kids to put up with (for those that want a rest bite ). For those that wish to explore the area, the friendly reception staff are always there to advise. The hotel is within a short walk to some great restaurants, but far enough away from the crowds that flock to the beach. This year the hotel really excelled when it came to breakfast and lunch. Great variety good quality food and absolutely delicious. HOTEL 28 is highly recommended, so don't miss out.

Beautiful hotel in Kamari - we’ve loved every minute. Kamari itself is a gorgeous area with so many wonderful restaurants (we particularly enjoyed Ariale, Tokyo Joe’s and Elias Grill). The ladies on reception are lovely and so patient, answering any requests. We requested a room on the second floor, pool view which we gratefully received. The rooms are pretty and have everything you need (but a few more bright lights and a floor length mirror would be appreciated). The shower was very good compared to other places we’ve stayed in Greece. The beds were firm but comfortable with a choice of pillows. There’s also a mini fridge with items to purchase, plus a little extra room if you need to store anything yourself. Air con (very good) and the safe is included. Housekeeping was excellent every day. Breakfast was basic but nice - the melon was great but we aren’t really breakfast people and instead liked to save ourselves for lunch either in Kamari or at the pool bar - the Greek Meze is great. Pool bar service is friendly and fast, with a large choice of drinks. You can charge everything to your room which is so helpful. We adored the pool area and especially the floating bean bags - I’m not sure how more places haven’t caught onto these! So comfortable and I could lie in them for hours. You have to be up reasonably early (9am) in high season for sunbeds with umbrellas but people move throughout the day as there’s a choice of beds with umbrellas, beds with full sun and beds with full shade. All very comfortable! We also enjoyed using the beach beds at Bellonias Villas on the beach which is also owned by the same people. We would definitely look at staying at Bellonias Villas in the future, and would equally return to Hotel 28 in a heartbeat. It is the perfect Santorini escape, while being only a 10 min walk from the beach or the bus stop where you can get to Fira (and transfer to Oia). The hotel can also arrange a private airport taxi for you for a reasonable price for the 15 minute journey. Thank you everyone at Hotel 28. 🩵

We have been coming to this lovely hotel for a number of years now and it still delivers. From the minute you arrive the welcome is warm & friendly. The rooms are spotless (thank you Natalie) fresh towels every day, the breakfast area is comfortable & peaceful and food provided is very good. The pool area is again spotless & there are lots of comfortable sun beds, the food from the bar menu is delicious. Walking out of the hotel turn right then go down the first road on the left this takes you to the beach & lots of bars & restaurants. We always enjoy our stays at 28 & will return in 2025.

We had a fantastic stay at 28 Hotel. The hotel facilities are clean, well maintained and the staff are very attentive ! The pool area is great and the bartender was very welcoming. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, always started the day on the right foot! ! We booked through booking.com at Areti hotel and when we arrived we struggled to find a reception area or someone to help at 7pm, would be great to send some instructions prior to checking in to make it clear where to go. Overall would recommend to anyone visiting Santorini!
