Afrodete Hotel

Very friendly and helpful management who couldn’t do enough to help us with trip arrangements etc. Well located outside Fira but an easy walk into the centre. Good Tavernas nearby.

Great hotel without paying a lot. Best thing about this hotel is the location in firostefani, you are centrally located so very easy to walk to all the other areas and located right down the road from the bus stop. Our room was gorgeous with a nice balcony and view of the ocean. One thing to note is this hotel does not face the caldera (sunset) side of the ocean, but we had beautiful sunrises everyday. The pool is small but does the trick on a hot day. I would definitely stay here again!

There was nothing about this hotel that isn’t charming. The rooms are super clean and spacious with eclectic decor, the staff is accommodating and helpful, it’s conveniently located, within walking distance to Fira and public transportation, and the views are wonderful. I can’t wait to come back!

The Afrodete Hotel was great, would stay there again. Really liked the location, convenient to both Fira and Firostefani. Staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and answering questions.

The location of this property is amazing, there are restaurants, mini markets and a bakery on the same street. Thera is 5 min walk from the hotel and so is Firostefani. The hotel was well kept, cleaner lady was there every morning, and the room was very nice. The only thing that we missed was a safe box to put passports and money. We recommend the hotel, very friendly owners and staff.

The hotel is close to the nightlife. A 15 min walk to the main city. I wouldn’t pick it if you are unable to do physical activities because the entrance is a steep slope and area around it is uphill. Other than that very close by to nightlife so save money on cab and only 15 min drive to airport
