The location was ideal for meeting buses at DoC centre across the road and, given the weather, was a lovely walk away from the town along the foreshore. The staff were friendly and helpful, for instance leaving our bags, which they'd looked after, in our unit on our return from the great walk we were doing.

Only thing we couldn't figure was how to stop the shower water getting on the floor in Unit 1. It didn't matter in the long run, as we really enjoyed the bath!

Location and facilities. The room was warm, clean and comfortable.

Roof light lighting up the Motels name shone through the side of the curtain all night across the head of the bed making sleep difficult. We were in Unit 4.
