Commodore Motel

The owners were very welcoming and allowed me to check in early which I really appreciated. The place was clean, comfortable, and was in a great location.

Our room had a smell, unsure whether it was fresh paint or the carpets needing cleaning which was quite strong. I purchased an air freshener which helped clear it within 24 hours.

Great location. Walkable to the Botanical Gardens and to groceries. Lovely staff. Excellent beds, pillows and bed linens. Very nice to have the seperate lounge.

Our stay was great the staff were very friendly and accommodating even helped with allowing an extra guest for a night. The neighbours can be a bit loud with there music but this is to be expected being by student accommodation and coming down at the start of o week but they would settle down by the start of noise control cerfew which was great but tolerated will definitely stay again when next down

Ensured we had locked our doors as an empty bottle of alcohol and cigarette butts outside room we were on 2nd level & being non smokers & drinker was a bit eerie. Service facilities excellent. Safe area was a blessing and hosts and staff very accommodating.

Great location for settling children into university. Close to amenities, campus, and main city areas. Room (studio) was spacious, well equipped, and clean. Shower was amazing, bed comfortable, room quiet.
