Beds on Clouds

After a full day of skiing at Windham my son and I stayed at Bed on Clouds. Location was perfect. It was minutes from the ski resort. Dining establishments were within walking distance. The accommodations were great. The common areas, entrance and dining hall, as well as room and bathroom were meticulous. Collectible items and photographed nation flags made out of flowers (a combination of talent by hosts Rebecca Segerstro and Susumu Sato) decorating the place made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious. We will stay there again.

The B and B was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. My room was a bit small but this was expected for this type of building. The only problem that I encountered was lack of fresh air in my room. I am the kind of person that need some fresh air ( preferable with opened window ) all the time. Unfortunately the room that I was assigned to had only an air conditioner that could not draw in sufficient fresh air from outside, and the window of the room was sealed and could not be opened. Something should be done for this problem and the stay would become perfect.

We made a reservation with Rebecca - when I called she explained her B&B and we were ready to get there from a hard week of work. Rebecca was warm and friendly - she shared her home with the upmost respect. The breakfast was also very nice - omelets with fresh fruit, juice, coffee and croissants. The room and bed were very comfortable with selective decor. We would gladly return in the future.

The rooms in the B&B are very nice, but the service is abysmal. The innkeeper yelled at us for arriving at 11PM, which she said was an ungodly hour to be arriving, and although at times she was nice, she would keep us in conversation for about an hour, when all we wanted to do was socialize within our room. There were many many instances of anger directed towards us--too many to write in a review. Basically, it is really close (3 min drive) to Windham Mountain, but the service is quite bad. Pretty nasty management. Don't be fooled by the 5 and 4s given from other reviewers, I don't believe them to be accurate.
