Chateau Wittem

Alles was geweldig, de eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en ook de rest van het personeel was erg gastvrij. Het ontbijt was fantastisch, we hebben echt genoten! De sfeer van het kasteel is erg authentiek. Het is een zeer bijzondere locatie om te overnachten.

from the first peek of the castle as we pulled in the gate we were thrilled! The gardens are lovely, you walk in and know you made a great choice. The Owner, Sylvie, greets you with your choice of beverage. There is nor rush, and then you are escorted to your rooms.....all named after month of the year. The "kasteel' has been renovated very nicely. The rooms are modern and comfortable with very nice amenities. (They could use more pillos....but we found them ourselves in the wardrobes outside the room, as we didn't want to disturb the 'front desk' at night) Dinner was delicious, two had the prix fixe menu which included an exquisite cherry and ice cream dessert. All 4 of us started with a superb mushroom soup, and all tried different main courses - none of them disappointed. The breakfast in the morning was beautifully presented and we were served by an excellent waiter.....and sadly can't recall his first name. It was only his second day but he was a total professional with an excellent manner and sense of humour! Ronald and Sylvie , the Owners, were most hospitable. We will certainly return next time we have guests visiting from the States!

Met onze kinderen verbleven wij in de torenkamer, dit is heel goed bevallen. Het ontbijt is echte verwennerij!

Prima hotel in prachtige, rustige omgeving en erg gastvrij management en personeel. Hier niet gedineerd omdat het restaurant dicht was maar het ontbijt is een feest.

We fell in love with this Hotel in a Castle! Beautiful rooms and beautiful gardens. The service was impeccable with a gourmet breakfast in the morning. A little tough to find unless you have a GPS to navigate you there however. We would recommend Kasteel Whittem to all of our family and friends. I hope I have the opportunity to return one day.

Zeer comfortabel verblijf zeer gastvrije service en een mooie omgeving en tuin, heerlijk gegeten en uitzonderlijk geserveerd ontbijt Zeker een aanrader!!

Ontvangst was heel gastvrij, upgrade van de kamer was erg attent, ontbijt was super de luxe en de omgeving was ook geweldig. We hebben een zeer romantisch en uitstekend weekend beleefd (ook mede dankzij het mooie weer)

Wonderful hotel. We stopped in only for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Unlike other reviews, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. We were given complimentary wine and water upon arrival. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is one of the best experience we had on our car trip in Europe this summer. We met the owner when we arrived at the hotel. He offered us a drink and showed us oround. The hotel is a little castle with lovely view to a garden. The room was really nice. The brekfast was good and very relaxing. If you want to get away from the commercial hotel, stress and noise, this is higly recommanded.

Just a wonderful experience! very welcoming and caring owners and staff, a beautiful hotel, great breakfast and service. To be highly recommended!
