"Unmade bunk beds is 'standard policy'"

Good facilities if you're staying for a few days - good location too.

Bunk beds - specifically top bunks - are left unmade.. This isn't stated anywhere - not in the confirmation, booking policy, or small print. After a red eye flight back with 4 children (all noted in booking), we were making up beds at 1am. Politely spoke to staff about this next morning and followed up with emails to the CEO Grant Wilkens after being told by Swan Valley staff this was "standard practice" and that I should reach out to CEO - again asked if this was started anywhere as we felt uninformed and didnt expect to arrive and start making up beds jet lagged from a flight. There were other options in the same price range available. As a point of constructive feedback, I suggested this could possibly be mentioned when guests are making a booking. Reached out to the CEO 13.03.2026 and followed up again 24.03.2026, as of today, 26.03.2026, no response and no acknowledgement. A very minor point that could've easily been addressed rather than ignored from the very bottom of the chain all the way to the top

Single cabin was dated and turned out to be an attached cabin, so a bit noisy. Newer models nearby appeared to be far better.
