The Old Bell Inn

Lovely old building, room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom could do with a refurb, grouting was mouldy but overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful facilities, friendly staff. Shame staff shortages meant the bar was closed and so was the restaurant. In room amenities, tea and coffee were fantastic... Would stay again when visiting mum and dad...

This is a traditional old pub/hotel which is great. The rooms are a little dated, but clean, and it is good to be somewhere that is individual. Bed was comfortable, bathroom functional, staff friendly. One thing which would be good would be if it was made clear that the kitchen is not open on a Monday. Fortunately, there is a pub across the road that does food!

Liked the oldness of it locations for longleat

Fantastic place to stay. Sam is a wonderful manager treating both guests and staff with such respect. The food was to a great standard and nothing was too big a deal. Will definitely return

The hotel sits right on the high street and we had a room facing the road. Unfortunately the road is very busy and the noise continues through the night which made the room far from peaceful. There was even a delivery truck unloading at half past midnight, and the hotel is opposite a Wetherspoon's so one can imagine the noise. The room had secondary double glazing which had little effect. When we asked for an alternative room we were offered one for an additional charge, so a peaceful night's sleep is apparently an optional extra. We were also there during a heatwave and the room had no aircon and no fan. Finally, the TV was essentially unusable because the signal was so poor, and the shower was a sea of mould.

Very nice hotel very helpful staff when we arrived and in the evening . But breakfast staff were miserable one staff member was behind the bar eating breakfast whilst working . And another seemed very tied and wasn’t happy . Food was cold . Might stay again if I couldn’t find Anything else
