Discovery Parks - Woodman Point

Amazing holiday park for what we needed. We were able to stay close to our Basketball team as they stayed and prepped for the National Championships. The facilities were great inorder for us to stay close incase we were needed and give them space to go and be great. It was also a great opportunity to for our families to spend time together and bond. We left with amazing memories, tight bonds and our team u14 Boys Logan Thunder Team left as National Champions for 2025. Thank you Discovery Parks-Woodland Point for accommodating to our needs during our stay, to be greeted by your staff and having conversations about how our boys were going everyday everytime they saw us and wished us luck. Amazing place run by amazing people. Thank you for everything.

Location, in amongst wildlife, had possoms, bandicoot, gallas and a maned duck as regular visitors. Pool was nice. Lovely walks to both coogee, around the reserve and to jervois point. Staff helped with storing bags and checked us in sooner than expected which was a relief as it was a morning flight and weather was very hot. Cabin was really nice, quiet (except the gallas and corellas 😂) all the basics, comfy bed, clean, nice balcony, good air con, supplied good toiletries and tea/coffee. Nice beach, 10 min walk. Kiosk near beach (open 8-14:30)

No shop, only a few basics in reception which is open 9-5. Car or long walk if you want a supermarket or bottle shop. No where nearby to get alcoholic drinks or restaurant. Car is needed but uber was cheap and we walked to coogee (40 mins) for bars and shopping but got an uber back.

Very comfy bed, nice clean linen and good tv access.

Sloping parking space and steps to cabin were a bit difficult for our older legs. Noise from neighbour's shower was quite loud though the person was very quiet and respectful. No hanging hooks in the bathroom.

Location was great

Cleanliness of the room . Floors were filthy

We walked in the cabin and it felt welcoming and clean and fresh 🙂 We sat outside having a beer amongst the trees checking out the birds and had an amusing time seeing kookaburras, pink and grey galahs, Willy wagtails and even the crows that were most entertaining with their antics. 😆

I rang several times to talk to reception whilst in our accommodation the afternoon of 27th and morning of 28th but no one answered my calls. I gave up on my request to have a 10:30 checkout instead of 10:00.
